How can you determine if something is a scientific research study or an article? Look for the following: -Who funded the study? -Validity: external, internal and construct -The study should be on at least 50 people -What is the P value? -Did all participants finish the study? -How are they getting people to sign up? -How is data reported? -Does it have a blind study or at least a control group? -University or Government studies are usually valid Go to Google Scholar or your university library for full research studies. Use your common sense and test it. You have to do your own research. Tip Of The Week: Do some research on what research is. Learn a little bit about what makes a good research study.
